Fall Release Wines
Every vintage tells a different story. The 2024 growing season gave us a collection of wines we are incredibly excited to share. While 2023 was defined by its freshness, energy, and vibrancy, 2024 offers a different expression - one of remarkable balance, elegance, and precision.
From the first days in the cellar, we were drawn to the harmony of the 2024 vintage. The aromatics were lifted and expressive, the textures refined, and the wines carried a natural sense of balance that only became more compelling over time.
We're proud to share the newest vintages of Origin, Les Deux Frères, Lapsus, and Le Vingt. Together, they capture what we love most about the 2024 vintage: purity of fruit, beautiful structure, and an elegance that makes each wine approachable now, with the potential to age beautifully for years to come.
As we celebrate the release of these wines, there is plenty to be excited about in the months ahead. Guillaume and the winemaking team are preparing for what is shaping up to be one of the earliest harvests we've seen in many years. This season will also mark our first small harvest from the estate vineyard - a milestone years in the making. While the quantities will be limited, the significance is immense.
We're also looking forward to welcoming many of you to upcoming events and visits in the tasting room. Some of our favorite moments each year come from sharing these wines with you, hearing your stories, and reconnecting over a glass.
Thank you for being part of the BENOM family. Whether we've shared a glass together recently or it's been some time since your last visit, we are grateful for your support and for the opportunity to share these wines with you. We look forward to raising a glass with you this fall.

The 2024 Vintage
Every vintage has its own personality. Some years ask you to adapt at every turn. Others simply fall into place. For us, 2024 was one of those years.
After a winter that brought about 15 inches of rain, the vines entered spring with exactly what they needed. It wasn't the abundant rainfall of 2023, but it was a healthy, classic Paso Robles winter that set the stage for a balanced growing season.
From budbreak through harvest, the season unfolded beautifully. We avoided prolonged heat spikes, and the fruit developed slowly and evenly through the season. Looking back, what we'll remember most about 2024 is that nothing remarkable happened, and sometimes that's remarkable in itself.
We started picking the white varieties at the end of August, then moved into the reds from early September through early November. It wasn't an especially early or late harvest. It simply felt like a classic California vintage.
In the cellar, we stayed true to the approach that has always guided BENOM. We harvested each block when it was ready, used new oak with restraint, and let the wines develop the way they naturally wanted to. When a vintage gives you great fruit, the best thing you can do is allow it to speak for itself.
Sometimes the best vintages don't require constant intervention or dramatic decisions. They simply allow the vineyard, the season, and the winemaking to work together in harmony. The wines feel composed, balanced, and effortless. They're enjoyable now, but they also have the structure to reward time in the cellar.
We're excited to finally share them with you.
