Bottle of Benom Paso Robles Lapsus

2018 Lapsus

30% Graciano | 30% Mourvedre | 25% Grenache | 15% Cab. Sauv.
Meaning “an involuntary error” in Latin, Lapsus is a nod to the discovery of Graciano in the Paso Robles appellation. Since this varietal was originally believed to be Mourvedre (monastrell), it was only natural to blend the two together. Graciano’s acidity is balanced with the rich earthiness of Mourvedre while bringing in Cabernet Sauvignon and a touch of Grenache. This is an opulent wine with an elegant density, finished by a mineral-driven freshness.

Bottle of Benom Paso Robles Les Deux Freres

2018 Les Deux Frères

59% Grenache | 23% Cabernet Sauv. | 18% Tempranillo
The second wine the brothers dreamt up for Benom, Les Deux Frères (“The Two Brothers”) was created with pleasure in mind. A combination of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon & Tempranillo, this wine is inspired by Spain with a Paso Robles twist. Les Deux Frères is our interpretation of what Paso Robles’ terroir has to offer, blending the unique characteristics of both regions in a singular wine. This wine is focused on purity and pleasure; the Grenache brings brightness with earth and minerality, while the Cabernet Sauvignon & Tempranillo bring a darkness, spice and tannin structure.

Bottle of Benom Origins

2018 Origin

100% Cabernet Sauvignon | (Wine Club Only)
From the beginning, the Fabre brothers knew they wanted the Benom Collection to focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Sauvignon blends; thus Origin was born. At 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, Origin was the first wine the brothers decided Benom would release. It is their family’s history in Bordeaux embodied through Paso Robles fruit. This wine is a classic French-style Cabernet Sauvignon characterized by a beautiful finesse & elegance while maintaining the power of Paso Robles.

Bottle of Benom Paso Robles Contrast

2019 Contrast

64% Chardonnay | 36% Sauvignon Blanc
This wine is characterized by a pale-yellow gold coloring. Its mineral-accented nose opens with a lovely perfume of white peach, citrus blossom and beeswax, followed by hints of jasmine and fennel. Bright and focused on the palate with lip-smacking freshness, Contrast shows a silky mouth-coating texture with impressive energy and balance. With a mineral-driven finish, this white is not only expressive right now but will age beautifully over the next decade.

Bottle of Benom Paso Robles L'Essor Rosé

2019 L’Essor

66% Grenache | 34% Cabernet Sauvignon
L’Essor features a delicate & vivid pale rose gold coloring. This wine is racy and sharply-focused on the nose, displaying an array of fresh citrus fruit and red berry qualities along with building mineral and floral nuances. The palate entry exudes brilliant freshness and vitality, with notes of watermelon, chalk and nectarine. It finishes long and nervy, showing excellent clarity and resonating floral and orange flavors. This rosé is crafted to be enjoyed now!
