2022 Lapsus

Savory Cherry Brioche Clafoutis with Whipped Mascarpone and Turkish Coffee Dust

  1. Spray a 9 by 11 baking dish. Add the diced brioche with parmesan and thyme. Sprinkle the dried cherries over the top.
  2. Bring the milk and cream to a simmer. Whisk the eggs and sugar together. Slowly whisk the milk slowly into the eggs and pour the mixture over the brioche. Top with fromage blanc.
  3.  Cover with foil and bake for 45 min in an oven heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. In a mixer, whisk all ingredients together until soft peaks form. 
  5. Let cool for a ½ hour cut into squares, and top with whipped mascarpone and Turkish coffee dust.
  6. Serve along side a glass of Lapsus and enjoy! Cheers!
