The second wine the brothers dreamt up for Benom, Les Deux Frères (“The Two Brothers”) was created with pleasure in mind. A combination of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon & Tempranillo, this wine is inspired by Spain with a Paso Robles twist. Les Deux Frères is our interpretation of what Paso Robles’ terroir has to offer, blending the unique characteristics of both regions in a singular wine. This wine is focused on purity and pleasure; the Grenache brings brightness with earth and minerality, while the Cabernet Sauvignon & Tempranillo bring a darkness, spice and tannin structure.
56% Grenache, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon & 22% Tempranillo
Les Deux Frères is highlighted by a pure garnet hue. Its bouquet offers notes of preserved strawberries & ripe black cherry, with undertones of dried flowers & spices. Medium-bodied on the palate, the purity of the Grenache shines through, unveiling a silky texture & elegant tannin structure followed up with a long, smooth finish. This wine will continue to age beautifully over the next 8+ years.
