ORIGIN

From the beginning, the Fabre brothers knew they wanted the BENOM Collection to focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Sauvignon blends; thus, Origin was born.

THE STRUCTURE

Deep-rooted in the clay and limestone of the west side, this polished expression of the nascent Paso Robles terroir is extraordinary. This wine is characterized by a meticulous approach to Cabernet Sauvignon grown in Paso. An elegant Bordeaux style with minerally driven tannins and an opulent finish, Origin’s refined and enchanting aromas never cease to enliven and captivate the senses.

Tasting Notes

Deep and opaque in the glass, the 2024 Origin is elegant and beautifully balanced, offering aromas of blackberry, cassis, and ripe cherry layered with subtle herbaceous notes. The palate is refined yet opulent, with dark fruit unfolding alongside a distinct mineral character that brings lift and definition. Extended aging has softened the tannins, creating a seamless texture while preserving the wine’s structure. The addition of Petit Verdot adds depth to the mid-palate and intensifies the wine’s color, leading to a long, graceful finish.
