ORIGIN

From the beginning, the Fabre brothers knew they wanted the BENOM Collection to focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Sauvignon blends; thus, Origin was born.

THE STRUCTURE

Deep-rooted in the clay and limestone of the west side, this polished expression of the nascent Paso Robles terroir is extraordinary. This wine is characterized by a meticulous approach to Cabernet Sauvignon grown in Paso. An elegant Bordeaux style with minerally driven tannins and an opulent finish, Origin’s refined and enchanting aromas never cease to enliven and captivate the senses.

Tasting Notes

Dark ruby in color, the 2019 Origin shows gorgeous notes of red cherry, plum, leather, and toasted nutmeg. Medium to full in body, it’s silky in texture from start to finish with fine yet gritty tannins.

Food Pairing

Miso Charred Ribeye

A beautiful food pairing for Origin is a Miso Charred Ribeye. This recipe by Chef Jeffery Scott showcases a sumptuous ribeye steak, charred to perfection with miso paste, and served alongside the indulgent Yukon Gold Truffle Gratin. Whether you're planning a special occasion, hosting a dinner party, or indulging in a decadent evening at home, Chef Scott's Miso Charred Ribeye paired with Origin sets the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience.
