ORIGIN LES DEUX FRÈRES LAPSUS MUZE HOC CONTRAST L’ESSOR
100% Cabernet Sauvignon$68
Origin has a tremendous nose for such a young Cabernet! It is highlighted by a deep ruby coloring and opens up to dark fruit, baking spice and tobacco. The palate features a classic Bordeaux structure with polished tannins. This wine is pure and elegant with a mineral-driven finish. It will cellar for easily 15+ years.
From the beginning, the Fabre brothers knew they wanted the Benom Collection to focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Sauvignon blends; thus Origin was born. At 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, Origin was the first wine the brothers decided Benom would release. It is their family’s history in Bordeaux embodied through Paso Robles fruit. This wine is a classic French-style Cabernet Sauvignon characterized by a beautiful finesse & elegance while maintaining the power of Paso Robles.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Origin features a beautiful deep ruby coloring. Its nose offers up a bouquet of mulled dark berries, black currant & baking spices with hints of earthy tobacco & espresso bean. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, spicy red fruits are complemented by a firm tannin structure & fresh minerality. While drinking approachably now, this wine will continue to age another 10 to 15+ years.

The 2016 Origin displays a deep ruby coloring. Reminiscent of a French left bank Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon, the nose offers up notes of blackcurrant, dried tobacco, graphite and spice. It is medium to full in body with solid mid-palate density, with chewy tannins and a fresh minerality. Still young in its life, this wine is approachable now or can continue to cellar another 12+ years.
